Last year you told Seventeen you hadn’t had your first kiss yet. Any updates?
No! I’m still waiting for the right moment. I think so many people want to rush things – they want to rush hanging out, they want to rush making out – and then it’s like they don’t even know the person they’re with.

You’re such a romantic!
I think girls get a bad rep for being emotional all the time. But I think a lot of guys are too. A lot of my guy friends, they really feel things deeply.

What else don’t girls know about guys?
Girls tend to blame themselves – even when the guy is the one who messed up. My girl friends will tell me about something a guy did, and I’m like ‘that’s not your fault.’ Sometimes guys are just dork faces. But girls don’t see it that way.

Why do you think that is?
Guys and girls think about relationships differently. Girls say a guy is ‘so sweet’ and analyze everything he does. And a guy is just like ‘yeah, she’s hot.’ That’s why you have to take it slow. People want to be in love so badly that they throw themselves in it, without stopping to figure out if it’s real

What would be your perfect Valentine’s Day?
I don’t think I’ve ever done anything on Valentine’s Day! But I think I’d like riding in a gondola. And then afterward going to get sherbet. I like to keep things light and fun!
