Because David is the epitome of random, I’d like to introduce yet another new regular column we’ll be having on AP, the RANDOM POST.

As the column title suggests, it’s going to be filled with anything and everything David, which isn’t really “news”, but is totally awesome, and totally random.

So, let’s get random!

Spontaneous Singing!

A Real Archangel with WINGS!

Here’s a video from tigerorchid’s (idf) friend. His/her bird sings to TMH! haha.

I told you, Who isn’t an archangel, nowadays? Seriously! Everybody loves THE Archuleta!

David asked Cook what was the most difficult song he recorded, to which Cook answered “a rock version of crush”, and cracked up. Haha.

David was on at the Rick Dees Top 40, and talked a little about lacross, his hamster etc. If you want to listen to the stream, you can go here. Look who is here. We sneaked him in during t-shirt. He has a huge smile on his face. Can you give it up for David Archuleta. Hey, buddy.
Hey.

I’ve been dying to meet you.
Oh, really?

‘Cause I wanted to see if your teeth were that pretty in person and they are.
*laughs* Oh.

They are. Did you wear braces?
I haven’t actually.

You have great teeth for no braces.
Oh, thanks.

That is so cool.
Thanks. I always thought I, I still think I need braces.

No, no, no. Not at all.
Oh, really? Cool. Thanks. *laughs*

Okay, let’s go down the list. There you are and the record people are coming up to you. What happened then? Did they come up to you and you meet a lawyer and you sign a deal? ‘Cause you aren’t that old, this is a whole new business thing for you.
That happened pretty fast. It was, uh, it was like the night after the finale, like, uh, no, it was that night. We had the finale that Wednesday night, big finale and ending of the show. I went back to my dressing room and then I had the meeting with the label. *laughs*

So, it was that fast?
Yeah! I was at the dressing room and I was like ‘well, I had a good time’ and then Simon Fuller and all them came in and were like ‘we’re really excited to start working with you, David, and it will be fun to, uh, start with the album.’ I was like whoa.

*Crush plays*

It is always nice to sit here and listen to your first hit on the Weekly Top 40 Countdown. He is David Archuleta, right here next to me. Rick Dees. Number 14, Crush. Let me become like a magazine for a second.
Oh.

These are list questions, so I’m just gonna throw out one word.
Oh, okay.

Favorite food?
Favorite food. I love Thai food. Thai food all the way. Pad Thai.

Favorite drink?
Drink. Water, I guess. Water and orange juice. I love orange juice.

Most memorable pet

I, I really liked my hamster. I was sad when it, uh, passed away. *laughs* But it lasted for, for a few years and it was dwarf hamster. It was just cute. It was really fun to watch.

Favorite sport?
Uh, favorite sport. I, well, I, I’m, I’m really into running. But to play at school when we did like PE and stuff I loved lacrosse. Lacrosse is just a lot of fun. It is kind of like street hockey. Which I love street hockey, too, but, so it’s kind of like that but you’re running. So I love street hockey and lacrosse.

You’ve got so much going on. This is just the beginning. Can you come back again and help us run the Weekly Top 40?
Oh, sure. Yeah.

Today is a very good day for Archie on the charts… he got 3 songs on different countdowns.. A Little Too Not Over You graced the Philippine radio and made its presence felt early… Crush… despite being there for 4months is still doing well… Touch My Hands is slowly inching its way up.. hopefully it will have a good run like Crush… or will A Little Too Not Over You  duplicate Crush’s feat??? That depends on your votes so dont forget to vote… okay?

David on Entertainment Buzz!

NBC’s Entertainment Buzz interviewed David prior to the Thanksgiving parade, and he talks about it and life after idol (which I’m sure we already know). These media people need some new questions to ask! Who else to go to for some creative (as in non-girlfriend-or-cook-questions) questions, but the Archangels! If only we had our own Tv and Radio stations, haha.

Triple Threat of Triple Treat?

Three singles for ARCHIE!!!

ARCHIE is all over the Philippine radios!!! It is undeniable as various stations are playing THREE of his songs.

CRUSH is a smash hit as it receives massive airplay in almost all the radio stations in our country. Meanwhile, TOUCH MY HAND is climbing the charts of radio stations. Finally, A LITTLE TOO NOT OVER YOU debuts in RX 93.1, few hours after, it landed to fifth spot of RX daily survey.

I realized this only this dawn as I accidentally turned on both my portable radio and the radio on my phone. ARCHIE’s songs were played in different stations. RX played ALTNOY, Magic played TMH and WRR played CRUSH…

This serves as a TRIPLE THREAT for ARCHIE’s nemesis and TRIPLE TREAT for his supporters. It is undeniable that ARCHIE fever heats up in the PHILIPPINES!
