The most appropriate introduction of David Archuleta I have ever heard…

David’s rendition of “Contigo En La Distancia” impressed and moved many people in the audience by just singing his heart out . Even with simple back-up, He still sounded sophisticated.  The simplicity of that performance makes the audience there; the viewers on TV and YouTube fixate their attention on him.  With his velvety voice, my soul is soothed and my problems were set aside as if he is telling me to just listen to him in that few minutes and taste that heavenly voice.  The song brought out the romantic side of him, a reminder that once he told an interviewer that he will bring his future date to ride in a gondola.  His voice is now richer and he is more confident in his performance.

Sometimes it is difficult for a young man to be taken seriously as an artist because of envy, of traditional mind-set and it will take a lot of patience for David to prove his craft.  But from his latest tour concerts up to the ALMA’s performances, David has progressed a lot.  He will be a serious player in the music industry.  And David Archuleta will have a mark as one of the best singers in this century or in the music history.  His faith and humility will help him achieve that.

David, go, soar like an eagle.
