OhMyDAVID!!! “Hello everyone, it’s David here

I’m here, right now, currently but I guess I won’t be here once you see this, actually (laugh laugh laugh) but ahhh I just wanted to be able to talk to you guys a little bit about some original music

And,

I wanted to make a goal to do some original stuff and to be able to write music that was real to me and just my own voice, my own sound.

Its a song that I actually did with a good friend of mine who is herewith me right now. Mr. Jon Hunt. We went to Junior High and High School together. Jon’s an awesome lyricist, and awesome writer.

And I wanted to talk to you guys about some of the original music that we’ve done. And we want you guys to listen to. We want to share with you.

So this is a song that is called Broken. It’s an idea I’ve had for a little bit. I showed it to Jon and he said it reminded him of the things that I’ve been a part of: Childfund, Rising Star Outreach and Invisible Children. Alot of things like that. So it reminded him of the feeling of where those kids are and where they are coming from with their hearts and the pain that they feel. Because some of those kids through alot of stuff.

Stop Kony campaign started and Invisible Children just kind of exploded. It was everywhere and it brought alot of attention to those kids in Africa who have struggled. Who Invisible Children has helped bring out into the light, into the attention of everybody in such an amazing way. Kids who may be going unnoticed for a long time. And you are finally willing to take the time to see where they are at; to notice; to look… at what is going on. You notice so much, you feel so much for these people.

That’s what this song Broken is about”
