I know Charice got some seeeeeeeeerious pipes (and some serious crush on D haha), but Charice, honey, David is usually “starstruck” by just about everyone, although he thinks everyone is just so cool , and fun, and down to earth, and all that too. I just contradicted myself, didn’t I? Need some sleep, haha.
Kudos to Charice for “free” David promotions in every interview though! Talk bout bulding the buzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
We’re archANGELS, and so is Charice, whether she admits it or not, haha. So, keep the comments nice, guys.

Charice was merely saying that she was tickled because it seemed like David got starstruck with her(like he is usually with other celebrities) and surprised that it seemed that way because obviously SHE knows that David is a bigger star than her. You guys know how he is, how he’s really modest around people…

Charice is one of the most humble person that we ever known. She came from humble beginning and she is not FULL OF HER SELF. Some comments trying to to put her down are fans of other singers from the Philippines who are afraid of their own demise because of ongoing international popularity of Charice. They are afraid the bandwagon would roll over them. Charice is an ardent admirer of David Archuleta. She was only happy just to have met David in the U.S. She realizes the popularity of David. What probably Charice meant is they way David admires Charice singing . In front of an audience sometimes you just say that is convenient at the present circumtances. IN NO WAY SHE IS ARROGANT. At this stage Charice has millions of fans already specially in the US. They are determined to put her on top to the extent of spending their own money to buy multiple copies of her international album. To those jealous crabs pulling her down we just feel sorry for you for your useless endeavor.

i admire charice for her talents, but the way she said it rubbed off me the wrong way, she sounded conceited even though she’s joking. i can’t imagine david saying that, she should learn from david’s humility..and anyway, whenever i read these articles and blogs about her, saying how successful she is, i don’t see it that way yet..i can probably see her being on the way, but not yet, until she releases a single/album here in the us that will top the charts. she should also sing a variety of songs, not only the “birit” ones she always does.as of now, most of the pinoys know her, but majority of the americans don’t even know she exists… gianna

Ok lang since support naman siya ng mga bigatin, if you don’t like her. David A has his own fair share of detractors and haters too..and so does Charice..that’s the price of fame. But what I can’t ignore is if people would predispose that she’s conceited. Even that harmless comment of hers in BnK, you people put a negative spin to it. Tama ba? Ang may malisya lang ang nakakaalam ng ano yung malisya?
David is very humble and it is for a fact that he acts “star struck” with other celebrities. That’s how modest he is. He doesn’t think of himself as a big star and Charice was merely stating that naaaliw siya na si David na parang na star-struck sa kanya. Wala naman kayo sa Macy’s Parade at hindi mo alam yung interaction nila, pero eto paring judgmental ang dating ninyo. You’d believe what you want to believe so I guess its useless..but I’m just here defending Charice from false accusations because I know what a kind girl she really is. Maganda ang kapalaran niya dahil sa maganda niyang puso, katulad ni David. God showered her with all these blessings because Charice had proven that she’s worthy of these achievements. Kilala ninyo ang Diyos. Nakikita ko tuloy si Jesus sa kanya. He also had a lot of haters and detractors and people persecuted him… Anyway, that’s all I wanted to say. God bless you all!! uki

@uki – Yes, both of them deserve the success they’re getting. Charice is talented, very very much in fact, thought not everyone’s going to like her or know that she’s humble or she’s very down to earth. But the fans know her best, of course. Perhaps, the comment just rubbed others the wrong way, and it’s understandable for you to defend charice and say her statement didn’t mean anything, because you’re a fan. Some people see things differently, and perhaps the statement just came as a little off to the non-fans. everyone has his opinion, that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s true. Interpretation is relative, as i said.

The interview was showed to non-fans as well(majority are non-filipinos) and they found nothing wrong with her comment. Of course to those who do not like Charice, they are predisposed to believe that Charice made an arrogant comment because that’s what they want to believe. But I stay firm that it was a harmless comment, biased or not, and nothing more and I still can’t believe that people would add malice to what she said. “Natutuwa” nga po. Bakit siya natutuwa? Dahil yung observation niya si David starstruck sa kanya eh samantalang mas popular si David kaysa sa kanya for now. Malay ninyo, baka si David mismong nagsabi sa kanya na starstruck siya sa kanya… you know how humble he is.
God knows how deserving Charice is and I firmly believe that good things happen to good people.
