Has it ever crossed your mind when we’re hanging, spending time, girl?
Are we just friends? Is there more? Is there more?

If anyone ever told me before that David would sing these two lines while looking straight at me or my camera or whatever it was he was looking at in my direction, I would have probably laughed and said NOT A CHANCE! Maybe to other archies, yes. But ME? Definitely NOT me! LUCKY has not really been my middle name when it comes to David Archuleta.

But hey, miracles happen, right? It just so happened I didn’t imagine that it could and it would happen to me. But it did and I guess it’s safe to say that THAT pretty much made my life complete. ALMOST. Anyway, more on that later.

Before I move on to my Eat Bulaga recap, I just want to thank some amazing people.

Jackryan4da and Kricket. You’ve no idea how grateful I am to both of you. I can never say SALAMAT PO enough to you angels. You both are LOVE and two of the most wonderful and amazing and awesome angels I know! <333 I LOOOOOVE you to bits and pieces!

Uriel and Kia. You two are the awesomest! Thank you for taking that cab ride with me from Kamuning to Broadway Centrum! And sorry you had to endure my panic attack and put up with my grumpiness, I was just really worried that we would not get to Eat Bulaga on time. So thanks a bunch you guys!

Cheche. Im really sorry. I just rushed out of the SIS studio in blind panic and totally forgot about you and everyone else. I am really really really really sorry. But I hope your signed tour program more than made up for your missing EB. Plus the fact that D sang a line to you during his ALTNOY performance on SIS.  Really sorry che!

Now, on to my recap. Finally. Oh, and don’t bother to get tissues. I promise I won’t make you cry coz I will pretty much be fangirling and flailing here. You know how I roll!

My May 15 started pretty early. Around 5.30am. Yes, that’s early for me coz im not a morning person. Anyway, we (Naree, Che, Maecy, Xeno, Kia and I) knew that we had a looong and uber exciting david-filled day ahead – SIS, Eat Bulaga, Magic and Presscon! -- so we didn’t find it hard at all to drag ourselves out of the uber comfy hotel beds despite the fact that we only had 3-4 hours of sleep!

Im pretty sure you’ve read Joyce’s super amazing recap of our SIS experience so I won’t do another one anymore. Suffice it to say, finally seeing David perform live was a surreal yet extremely, unbelievably, amazingly magical experience. It was the very first time I saw him perform live and I couldn’t stop thinking to myself how surreal it was, like I was just watching a youtube video but sooooo much better. A gooooogillion times better than all of the videos of him I had seen put together. He was GLORIOUS and MAGICAL and soooo much more than anything I ever imagined!

When SIS finally ended and D disappeared into the backstage, I pratically made a run to the nearest exit! I was in panic! All I could think of was I had to get to Eat Bulaga on time and get good seats for us! US! that’s when I remembered I was actually going with some Archies so I went back and looked for them. I spotted Uriel right away, towering over everyone else and made a beeline for him. We were on our way out when Kia found us. We only had 30 mins to get to EB before the show started so I was seriously having a panic attack! I’m sure I got on their nerves the way I kept telling them we had to get a cab to go to Eat Bulaga like a broken record. Sorry again guys!

Finally, we were able to get one and made our way to Broadway Centrum. The show was about to start in 10 mins when we got there so I had to talk to security in a rush and explain to them we were with 7 other people and they were already on their way so could they just let them in as soon as they arrive? They, unfortunately, told us that they could not do that as the show was about to start. So the three of us had no choice but to go inside the studio without the other archies. They had us leave all our belongings, including our cellphones, and finally let us in.

The studio was packed when got there but we found some nice seats just a few rows away from the stage. A few more minutes passed and the show finally started. I could feel the excitement of everyone inside the studio! The hosts would mention his name from time to time and all of us would just go crazy! And I could not help feeling elated and nervous at the same time! I was going to see David perform again!

Finally, the moment arrived! He was about to perform and I was in panic again.I wanted to go near the stage so I could take a good video of his performance but from where I was sitting, the hosts and a number of people’s heads were blocking my view.

And then there he was! Looking happy and glorious, ready to sing his heart out again! And Crush started playing in the background! I just about died coz i loved that song so much! As soon as I saw him on the stage, I just threw caution to the wind and ran towards the stage! I didn’t care anymore! There were security people there but I didn’t care! I just had to get close to him! I had to! Luckily, it seemed that everyone else was thinking the same thing. We all just rushed towards the stage, wanting to get close to him as much as we could! It was actually pretty scary and crazy that we all rushed towards the stage like that! I think the security people realized that they’d have a hard time telling us to go back to our seats so they just let us.

I was about to stand next to the cameramen when I spotted this area on the stage. Yep, on the stage! I saw one of the hosts sitting on that part on the other side of the stage so I thought to myself, why not? So I ran for it and sat down, Indian style, ON THE STAGE, just a few feet away from David! He was about to sing the chorus when I finally settled myself comfortably in. And OMG! I just about died again when he walked closer to the audience! He was sooo close, I had this urge to reach out and touch him! How I wished he was singing Touch My Hand instead at that moment!

But then the BEST thing happened! Something I NEVER EVER thought would happen!

As soon as he finished singing the chorus, he looked in my direction and started singing the next two lines! I seriously forgot about everything at that moment! I just remember putting my camera down slightly and looking up at him, straight in the eyes, to make sure that I was not hallucinating or anything! And when it finally dawned on me that, YES, he was looking at me or my camera, I just spazzed and flailed and screamed with what’s left of my already hoarse voice! I’m pretty sure my mouth was hanging open the entire time and my arms were busy flailing in every direction and all I could say was “Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh Oh my goshhhhh!” And the funny thing was, I could see him trying his best not to laugh! I’m sure I looked ridiculous and pathetic, flailing and screaming my head off like that and just about ready to pass out! And I totally forgot about my camera! All I could think of were those gorgeous hazel eyes, that I adored, that I just used to look at in pictures, were staring back at me or my camera or whatever it was he was looking at in my direction! I was seriously ready to die at that moment! What was the point? My life was already complete! I just wished it would go on and on forever!

But the MOMENT ended a little too soon when one of the cameramen started to block my view of David! But not totally, I still saw him looking at me behind the cameraman before he walked to the other side of the audience and sang to someone else. Hmff!

So the moment was over and I finally remembered how to breathe. I had to stand up from where I was sitting coz the cameraman was by then already totally blocking my view of David. I was able to stay at the same spot for a few more minutes before some burly man approached me and told me go back to my seat. Stubborn that I was, I didn’t move an inch so the mean burly man had to drag me back to my seat. Ugh! You’ll see later that I got a “good” view of the ceiling, the floor and some of the people in the audience in my video on my way back to my seat. Seriously, those security people could be so mean sometimes! But before I got shoved back to my seat, something wonderful happened again! David was already singing the bridge part of Crush and I was standing right behind the cameraman when D moved towards our side, turned to us and looked at me or my camera again for a fraction of a second! And I spazzed and flailed all over again!

So I was finally back in my seat but my heart kept beating like I just finished running a marathon. Good thing my hands finally decided to steady themselves so so did my camera. I was sooo far away from the stage by now but it was still so much fun watching him talk to the hosts after his performance. He looked and sounded so happy and carefree and so adorable! I felt so happy and sooo proud of him!

And then it was over. He was gone. And I was deflated. That’s when I understood what everyone who had seen him in concert was saying. Once you see him perform live, you’d just want to see him over and over again! But I didn’t feel deflated for long when I remembered that I still had a concert to look forward to. A solid hour or more with David singing his beautiful songs!? What could be better than that?!

We left Eat Bulaga right after D performed. We didn’t stay on to finish the show as we still had another David appearance to catch.

So now for the EB video and pictures (coz I’m sure you’re bored to tears by now!), I need to warn you that the video will make your head spin. Literally. If you’ve seen the movie Cloverfield, this video is worse. And if you’ve seen my SIS video, this one is sooo much worse. So consider yourself warned. Don’t blame me if you’ll find yourself feeling dizzy after watching it, ok? It’s David’s fault! I wouldn’t have freaked out like that if he weren’t so, uhm, you know? But since I don’t want you to hate me so much, I did get some good screencaps for you from my uber shaky video. So, uhm, enjoy?
