We’re in another level this week because I’ll give you guys a sneak preview of our newest mini-series here in TV5, where I’m starring with Eula Caballero and David Archuleta -- Nandito Ako. While scenes are getting heavier in Nandito Ako, let’s take a break ‘coz I’ll tour you around the set. Let’s go!

We are here in one of our made-up sets by our art team and this is one of scenes where I think David or Josh Bradley, the character of David, is backstage talking to his manager about some kind of problem. So it’s just made here in a little studio in one of our locations in Makati. I didn’t get to watch the scene but I heard them rehearse a while ago. It looks emotional, that’s the start and that’s when you would find out why they went to the Philippines.

This is our mini make-up station here in our studio set and here is Mama Ed, our beloved make-up artist. This is where me and Ana Feleo’s make-up is done. She also sometimes do Eula’s (Caballero) make-up.

These are the monitors where we can see the preview of what’s happening while the takes are on-going. This is where Direk (Mac Alejandre) stays with our other executive producers. Also, this is where directions ar given. So this is actually a very crucial part of the set because this is where we can see the scenes that are being filmed, which angles are supposed to be done, which angles are supposed to be filmed for te sow when it is released. Let’s go to the next.

Awhile ago, this was a room where the band of Josh Bradley or David Archuleta plays. As you can see it’s no longer a band room, it’s now an office. They packed up the instruments and moved it to a different setting. So we’re very adaptive as to whatever room is available. But if you turn around, you’ll see that there are mirrors so I’m guessing that this is actually a dance studio. We’re very adaptive and we can manipulate an area to make it our own scene.

So you’ve seen where we sometimes tape/film, that’s why you really shouldn’t miss the newest offering of TV5 -- Nandito Ako! It’s really something to look forward to and it’s going to be shown on Feb 20 so please watch it! I’m Jasmine Curtis-Smith and you’re watching “Hey It’s Saberday!”
