Team Archie had a successful campaign to push Altnoy when it first came out. Because of it, we gifted over 1000 copies of Altnoy. Now, Altnoy needs our push more than ever. It is on the verge of breaking the Itunes top 100 chart, and we want to help it finally break that barrier and go beyond!

For this contest, we’d like everybody to purchase as many iTunes gift certificates as possible and gift them to fans and nonfans alike – at his concert, at meet and greets, on the street, at the mall, at the grocery store, to your neighbors, your friends, your children’s friends, etc.

Team Archie will prize the person who purchases the most iTunes gift certificates of Altnoy. All you need to do is send us a screencap of your iTunes purchase history showing the number of gift certificates you have printed out; email the screencap to teamarchie@hotmail.com. The prize is a deck of Team Archie playing cards featuring different David Archuleta pictures, and a limited edition poster from Kmart or the Limited Too. The deadline for your screencaps is March 20, 2009. (In the event of a tie, the winner will be the one with the earlier submission.)

Lynn pointed us to HitPredictor. It’s a chart that shows listener’s ratings for different songs. She said her local radio station in Altlanta uses it to help build their playlist!

Our favourite song, however, is ‘A Little Too Not Over You’.

If awards existed for songtitles alone (and perhaps they do, the last person to attempt reading through the full list of Grammy categories died of old age when they’d barely passed the halfway mark) ‘A Little Too Not Over You’ would scoop every single one. It would travel the world accumulating plaudits. It would be the ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ of pop songtitles, an internationally recognised benchmark against which all future songtitles would be judged. Like ‘Same Old Brand New You’ and various others that don’t spring to mind right now but you know what we mean, ‘A Little Too Not Over You’ is an extension of some songwriters’ habit of taking everyday phrases – better the devil you know, I should be so lucky – and turning them into pop songs. This is all about creating new phrases that sounds like they’ve been around forever and sound perfect in pop songs.

Got a message this morning. It was one of those text messages from the Globe network (2346 is globe right? *shrug*). Anyway I delete those messages without even reading it. But today something caught my eye. The words “A little too not over U (David Archuleta)” stopped me in my tracks. So yeah. Only 3 song/names were mentioned.

So yeah (I keep saying yeah! Must be my favorite word. LOL) I just had another one of those moments. “Archie is larger than life” hit me hard again and sent me reeling backwards. I was just so giddy that I was smiling sweetly at my cellphone and my laptop screen. Yeah (here it is again) so that sums it all up. Told you it was random. Before you go watch “ALTNOY” first. I still haven’t gotten enough of this. Haha

I just realized there were 2 ALTNOY vids on his official page. What the? Anyway I was gonna embed those but “embedding disabled by request”. Dang it! I forgot. So i’ll just post his pictures. It isn’t related to the vid, but yeah (told you) it’s still David Archuleta. My one and only idol and inspiration. I shall stop now. Ciao.
