Starkey Hearing Foundation Event: 8:45 am CT
The Starkey Hearing Foundation is teaming up with American Idol and national recording artists, Jordin Sparks and David Archuleta, to deliver the gift of hearing to 100 children throughout the Miami area. The mission is scheduled for Wednesday, February 3rd from noon-4pm at the Eden Roc Hotel on Miami Beach. The mission will be followed by a special performance by American Idol Stars, Jordin Sparks and David Archuleta.
Oh, how we love the Starkey Foundation! They tweeted with us last week and let us know that they will pay extra special attention to David during the event and get some close-ups for us to enjoy on the webcast! They will be interviewing him and documenting David and the other celebritites distributing hearing aids to children. Can you imagine…oh if we can only watch someone hearing David clearly for the first time…
The webcast begins at 8:45 am Central time, and the press conference and celebrity introductions are scheduled for 11:45am.
Sparkstown Teddy Bear Picnic: 5pm-6:30pm
Jordin will perform with David and other guests at this picnic. The Red Carpet and Meet and Greet begins at 4pm, so let’s keep checking Getty and Twitter for pics!
Intimate Evening with Jordin and Friends: 9:30pm
Jordin will perform a full set featuring David Archuleta and other guests.
Thursday, February 4
Teddy Bear Delivery
Jordin, David, and other guests will be delivering the signed Teddy Bears from the picnic and hanging out with the kids.
Friday, February 5The Red, White & Black After-Party, 9pm-2am
Although David isn’t officially listed, I’m thinking that he will probably hang around for this party. Celebs and athletes will be taking the mic throughout the night.

An Epic @DavidArchie-riffic Songwriting Week!
David and his team are in the process of making awesome tunes once again, and the wonder that is twitter gives us a chance to know little bits and info about the coming sophomore album! He got to work with @DapoTorimiro, @PriscillaRenea, @TheMessengersNA (@NasriWorld) @andre_merritt, @claudekelly, @hodgesmusic and @emanuelkiriakou.
I suggest you google or wiki these talented guys so you have an idea of what songs they wrote, and for/with whom. It might surprise and amuse you that they’ve worked with Ke$ha, Kelly Clarkson, David Cook, Justin Bieber (you multifandom girls rejoice) and even Chris Brown. Oh, and in case you didn’t know, Eman is the genius behind the smash hit, CRUSH!

The Other Side of Songwriting
We know Songwriting sessions range from brutal to magical. It can be mentally draining or it can be enlightening. One thing is for sure, it is an intense process. But that doesn’t mean there’s no time for funnnnn. Check out how Eman, Andre and well, a little bit of David Archuleta show the OTHER side of songwriting – the goofy, crazy, weird, FUN stuffs.
Eman sent a bubbletweet telling David’s twitter followers that he neeeeeeeeeeded them to follow him (and Andre). Bubbletweet is a “fun, easy, and free service that lets real people personally connect with all their Twitter followers using quick bubble video messages”. They were halfway between taunting and begging, it was so hilarious! Also, they panned the camera so it would show David who was standing quietly at the corner, watching them lose their minds, lol!
