March 14, 2009 was the longest ARCHUDAY ever, for the Pinoy Archies as David had his media round-up -- From the studios of Sis to Eat Bulaga to Magic 89.9. Of course, there was no complaining, only way too much excitement as the buzz and hype kept building and building. By this time, the Pinoy Archies were trapped in between wanting to see David perform in the concert already and not wanting the concert to happen yet, for fear of the archuweek to end.

Day 3 was filled with archuamazing memories -- David’s wanting to ride a jeepney, calling the Barong a shirt, and calling Juan, “this little guy” lol -- and of course his unending flashing of his mega-watt SMILLLLLEEEE that melted everyone in his way, lol.

Every moment was getting bittersweet, and of course, when you see that archusmile, archuglow and archustare… the more you want time to just stop. And since the moment did pass, let us take a look back at what an amazingly looooong (but totally worth every second!) day it was.

Because David is the King of Twitter, and the Archangels are Fierce Tweeps.

Twitter fame may be fleeting, but as of this writing, the Philippine noontime show Eat Bulaga is one of the most popular Trending Topics on Twitter.

How did this happen, you might ask? Well, American Idol Season 7 runner-up David Archuleta is in the Philippines for his back-to-back concert with Idol winner David Cook, and guested today on Eat Bulaga. Archuleta is on Twitter and has thousands of followers. In fact he made “Philippines” one of the most popular Trending Topics for two days–first, when he tweeted that he was flying to the Philippines, and second when he arrived here.

Incidentally, Eat Bulaga co-host Pia Guanio is also on Twitter, and that’s been adding to the buzz the noontime show is generating today.

Previously, “Manny Pacquiao” and “Pacman” were among the hottest Trending Topics, thanks to his highly anticipated bout with Ricky Hatton.

Wonder how the Philippines will make it to Twitter next time? Surely we won’t always have to rely on Archuleta hehe
