ANNOUNCEMENT: CONTEST IS TEMPORARILY ON HOLD.

Notwithstanding how much it has been a joy to reward you – the fans – for all your hardwork, this contest’s primary aim was to bump David’s songs on the radio charts. And thanks to you guys, the first few weeks had an overwhelming response. Lately, however, due to some circumstances out of our control, (e.g. trashing/nullifying/non-counting of our precious votes), the contest does not seem to be serving its purpose anymore. After much deliberation, the Admins (and Council of Elders) have decided to put it on HOLD -indefinitely (or until our votes and feelings as listeners, as a loyal fanbase, as consumers will seem to matter again). It breaks our heart to bring you this news, but please bear with us.

Important:
~Counting of votes (for the contest) will stop tonight – Oct.6, 2010.
~Votes sent in from Monday-Wednesday will still be counted, but will be carried over to the week when the contest will resume.
~We encourage you to direct and focus all your voting efforts (for Elevator & SBL) to RT and Mellow for now.

Here’s to a gracious exit off the radio charts for SBL (it has been a great run!), and an explosive entry for Elevator. *CHEERS*

The awesome single is at #1 on The Daily Survey (RX 93.1) again [day 2], and is also at #1 on the Top 5 @ 5 (Magic 89.9) for the first time today!!! Good, good job requesting and voting Archies! We all deserve a pat on our backs ^.^ ♥ ♥ ♥

Finally! After a week from when Monster Radio RX 93.1 included “Something Bout Love” in their playlist, the awesome single from BB claims the number 1 spot on the Daily Survey! SBL has been at #2 for five straight days on the daily chart, behind Maroon 5′s “Misery”, granting them the top spot on the Countdown Top7 (refer to this post).

But now, the time has come for David to rule the charts! Awesome job, Archies! Kudos to us all! *cheers*

Around 5pm today…  a familiar intro was played on Magic 89.9…. and an angelic voice followed..

Somethin Bout Love is playing on a local radio station in the Philippines!!! for the FIRST TIME!!!

Goosebumps again… just like when I first heard Crush on the local radio..

Even if this is not his 1st single.. It always excites me and makes me feel so proud when I hear his song played on the radio.. especially if its the 1st time its played… and if we have long waited for this…

Months have past since our little david released a single.. and i admit.. i soooooooooo miss hearing him…

Now.. its here… we should help each other to add this single on his list of Number 1s…
