If we are hearing it right, I now understand why he likes this song. Am also inclined to believe he helped pen this song.
Am warming up to this song. Especially if he develops the vocal memory for this and eventually nails it – like every other song he has commanded.
With constant listening & singing since last night, even I have the breathing down pat. Am sure he will stylize the portions where the melody tends to be monotonous and not extend the ending of the lines/phrases in a similar pattern. And if played an itsy bit slower, so he can snatch breath where it matters, the jazzy groove can even be enhanced.
This has potential. OK, am changing my verdict on this one. Liking it now.
But wouldn’t it be great if he can release SNY?
