I have this small story to share: MikeK pm’ed me last week or the other week, wanting to find out if I got the footage of the DJs’ reaction to Elevator. It would appear that the DJs went bonkers wherever they played it.
That would explain the early release of Elevator, prompted by the radio stations themselves. This bodes well for that single and the album then, woo-hoo! When DJs are excited for a song, they support it wholeheartedly.
Goodness David is generating fantastic impressions in both pop and classical sides of the market. Why the US music industry is so slow on the uptake is not entirely a mystery but definitely frustrating. This, from a fan million miles away but where he gets instant support. I think the Asian Archie contingent should focus on promoting him in China so we can approximate the size of the US/Canada market. Oh, excuse my ramblin…
